*REPLY ME AT:dayle.wil...@itbtalent.com <at%3adayle.wil...@itbtalent.com>* TitleL: Java Application Arch Location: Wilmington, DE Duration: 12+ Months Essential Functions: •Work with the overall Enterprise Architecture team to define the future state architecture vision for the organization •Conduct in-depth analysis of enterprise applications and integration services, including analysis of business/technology needs and working with key business and technology contacts to drive a cohesive and implementable strategy and roadmap for the organization •Investigate/prototype and provide concrete planning and hands-on implementation assistance for next-generation technologies into the application/services environment •Provide hands-on design assistance, prototyping, and oversight for key bank-wide projects, and also ensuring alignment with architecture direction •Influence and leverage a variable number of contract and FTE solution engineers/architects to advance the architecture implementation •Understand and formalize the business needs and ROI for new capabilities and to resolve ambiguous requirements. •Develop overall application architecture model(s) to address identified and potential organizational needs •Oversee execution of enterprise-level standards and governance processes •Maintenance of the overall current state and application inventory for the enterprise Education, Experience, And Skills Required: •10+ years of full life-cycle and iterative development •Strong experience in architecture, design and implementation of enterprise, high-volume, secure applications and systems •Experience with latest-generation service-based and data technologies, such as CQRS, complex event processing, Kafka, Active MQ, REST, NoSQL Databases (MongoDB), Big Data (Hadoop, Spark Streaming) •Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented design and implementation and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) techniques and modeling •Strong experience in Java-based solutions and frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate •Knowledge of core DevOps principles and practices, with specific experience with continuous delivery tools such as GoCD and provisioning tools such as Chef •Experience with Web and JavaScript Frameworks (Node.js, JSP, etc.) •Experience with Agile methodologies, refactoring, test-first programming •Experience with relational database technology: SQL, JDBC, Oracle •Experience with UNIX and virtualization/container technolgies •Excellent analytical and problem solving skills •Excellent organizational and planning skills •Excellent interpersonal, verbal, leadership, organizational and planning skills •Resolve and sense of urgency •Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision •Experience with Apache Tomcat products and deployment •Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of management and stakeholders •Familiarity with ETL, BI and analytic tools such as MicroStrategy SAS, and DataStage •Ability to challenge the status-quo and drive change •Resolve and sense of urgency – self-starter •Prior experience in an architecture role in an enterprise setting •Experience designing and developing web applications and call center applications •Experience with Subversion/Maven/Git •Experience in the banking/finance industry Regards: Dayle Wilson - IT Technical Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc.
