Job description: Understand the business users’ requirements for information and communicate them to the rest of the data warehouse team Requirement Elicitation & writing Functional specifications and Data Mappings Assist DW data analyst in analyzing existing reports and identifying iteration metrics; Lead preparation of data warehouse requirements document Assist data analyst in mapping task; Analyze existing reports; Lead the identification and documentation of business metrics ; Determine systems of record with the assistance of appropriate source system experts; Help identify potential sources of data for the data warehouse; Oversee testing of data acquisition processes and their implementation into production; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Effective listening and problem solving skills; Assist the customer support issue and defect analysis efforts when required, including defect and issue triaging and testing; Domain: Credit Risk, Energy Trading (preferred) Technical Competencies: RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) Concepts Basic Data Warehouse Terminologies (E.g. Star & Snowflake Schemas) Advanced PL/SQL Data Analysis & Data Manipulation Data Migration Tools & Techniques Database Knowledge: Oracle 10g, 11 & SQL Server 2005, 2008 Basic Integration Concepts (E.g.
