Title: Testing Lead Type: Contract Duration: 5 months Location: Near Albany, NY *Required skills: 5 years of Facets experience, 7 years of testing, 5 years of leadership experience, *Macess and SQL preferred** Description: Delivers quality functionality within specified timeframes; using the HP/Mercury suite of tools to support testing on projects. Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team, and is responsible for following established standards and best practices, and reporting testing results clearly and accurately. - Lead testing on medium – large-scale projects; including creation of testing documentation, detailed testing schedule, coordinating & supporting IT and Business testing resources - Participates in requirements gathering / reviews, and designs, develops and executes manual and automated test plans to ensure the quality of core applications and systems. - Performs risk assessment, impact analysis and works with technical and business personnel to resolve issues and develop mitigation plans. - Acts as initial point of escalation for project testing issues, documents defects and works with developers, business users and project team to resolve issues. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues as they exist and change from time to time.
