should be considered for the position.
· Provide configuration, testing, implementation, ongoing
administration, support, monitoring and maintenance to the entire technology
infrastructure stack and all its related components. Primary behaviors will
be tied to the workstation and server environments of DCF.
· This candidate must be willing to serve in a wide variety of
roles from direct customer service functions such as helpdesk to server
setup, configuration and management.
· Strong experience with workstations and servers (consisting of
both Intel Linux platform(s) and Windows 2008) is key, additional potential
skills that should be noted by candidates include experience with middleware
(WebSphere v6.x and above and IIS v5.x and above),
· sharePoint Administration and VMWare including virtual desktop
management and lifecycle and change management processes utilizing the
appropriate Microsoft solutions.
· The candidate will be expected to follow industry standard best
practices and methodologies and provide knowledge transfer to other staff
through both direct communication and formal documentation.
· This full-time contract position will enable uninterrupted
day-to-day support for all DCF staff and ensure the success of BITS in
development and ongoing management of its own technology infrastructure.
