Duration: 6+ Months *Need locals or nearby to attend face to face after telephonic. Also need two professional references.* We have a need for our project for a Senior IBM DataStage Developer/Lead. We are looking for a senior developer with some design and architecture in their background. You will be working with a team to develop a large Operational Data Store. This project requires self-starting, individuals who are capable of advanced IBM DataStage development tasks and are comfortable working with large project team with tight deadlines. *Major Responsibilities : * Constructs ETL design specifications from data analysis and technical requirements. Builds, enhances, and deploys new and existing ETL using IBM Data Stage Enterprise Edition 8.1. Leads technical walkthroughs of DataStage ETL solutions for Design and Development peer reviews. Educates Quality Assurance and Operations staff on operational characteristics of developed solutions. *Required Skills* Strong grasp of modern, job-relevant technology Ability to design, execute, and document unit test plans. Ability to quickly build domain and subject matter expertise. Positive, professional, solution driven attitude. Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-growth environment in a matrix team structure. Able to proactively identify problems and initiate remediation actions with slight direction. Excellent written and oral communication skills. *Required Experience* Bachelors degree; preferably in computer science or related field. Strong SQL skills including procedural languages (Oracle preferred). 5+ years IBM Data Stage Enterprise Edition development experience. 8.1 experience preferred.
