The individual selected for this position will be responsible for defining,
creating, implementing, maintaining and supporting the enterprise data
models and databases within the assigned database environment(s). The DB2
Database Administrator will analyze, test and implement physical database
design; supporting various business applications (including base
definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and
operational guidelines); ensuring data recovery, maintenance, data
integrity and space requirements for physical database are being met.



Must be expert level skills in the design, administration, programming, and
support of relational databases for a large company DB2 (mainframe z/OS)
and Experience in designing, modeling, developing and supporting large
RDBMS.



Must be highly skilled with logical and physical database design, hands-on
data modeling techniques and development methodology; physical schema
design of table spaces, rollback segments and data files.



Must also have expert level skills with SQL, including programming and ways
to optimize SQL code and the Ability to monitor and tune the database.
