Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer (Level 3) Work Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: 6+Months Skills Required: . Win7 Desktop (32 and 64 bit) plus IE9-IE11 . Server 2008/2012 . Office 2010 . VBScript, Powershell and Batch scripting. . Designing and implementing Group Policy settings . Experience working with third-party vendor support teams . Designing and troubleshooting VDI related issues . Solid background in Level 3 Desktop support, including Group Policy troubleshooting, in an enterprise wide environment. . Experience with Beyond Trust and/or has worked in an environment where users are not permitted to have admin level access to their desktops . Office 2010 and Win 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) Enterprise and Embedded are required . Knowledge of Windows 7, IE and Chrome DOD configuration settings . Any experience with SCCM 2012 is a plus . Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work extensively with vendor support teams while communicating with challenging clients . SCCM Application, Software Update, and OS Deployments (nice to have) . Desktop Image creation experience with Ghost, MDT, or similar technologies (nice to have) . Knowledge of SQL a plus (in relation to SCCM) . WMI . SCOM/similar reporting tool (nice to have) .
