*Need QA Engineer in FL - 4+ Months Contract!* Position : QA Engineer Location : TAMPA,FL Duration : 4+ Months *Rate : $30/hr on C2C!* Description: Software Testing Contractor is responsible for developing collaborative working relationships across the IS development and testing teams. Ensure the quality assurance test workload and results in the execution and validation of the test plan and test scripts. Responsibilities of Software Quality Assurance (QA) function : Perform test execution and document results in Quality Center. Log and maintain defects via Quality Center Develop and maintain testing schedules, track, monitor and report on SQA results. MUST HAVE / Requirements 3-5 years of experience in software testing SQA processes, software/product testing, and process required Knowledge of QA principles and their practical application to meet goals. Experience with identifying, communicating, and escalating risks, assumptions and other impacting issues. Strong knowledge and use of HP Quality Center Ability to effectively complete assignments and meet quality assurance goals. Hands on experience in creating, implementing and maintaining testing environments. Experience testing Client/Server; Web software; data and analytical output. Good written and oral communications skills required. Must be able to communicate complex, sometimes technical, concepts to others who may or may not have technical backgrounds. Data validation skills including ability to define and create test data set. In-depth knowledge of relational database systems and tools (e.g. Teradata, Oracle), SQL programming, and business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos, Jasper, and Business Objects) required.
