Experience: 5-10 Basic Job Function: This position has been created to ensure that Testing responsibilities are covered. The incumbent will report to a QA Manager and take on responsibilities for testing to include: test plan and script creation, test execution, defect reporting, results reporting. The incumbent provides strategic guidance and oversight within one or more testing disciplines (functional, capacity and performance, automation, etc.) for a feature, project, product, application or system. Experience with Datawarehouse Technologies/Techniques such as Star/Snowflake Schemas, ETL, SSIS is a must. Accountabilities: 1. Provide input to Test Strategies and Test Plans. 2. Design, document, and gain approval for test deliverables (to include test automation and/or load/performance testing) 3. Develop Technical Assessments 4. Develop and execute or oversee Test Plans 5. Create and execute test scripts 6. Manage software test deliverables 7. Maintain test data 8. Provide input to software quality metrics 9. Influence designs or plans to improve performance or reliability, reduce resource consumption and/or facilitate testing 10. Work with end-users to create and document end-to-end test suites 11. Ability to derive and back into requirements 12. Create and review Test Deliverables to ensure compliance to the Test Strategy 13. Create and review Test Deliverables to ensure compliance to standards 14. Create and review Test Results to validate completion of testing Required Experience 1. 5+ years QA Testing experience 2. 3+ years experience testing in an Agile/Scrum testing environment 3. Experience with testing Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence/ Data Migration 4. Hands-on experience with SQL and Manual Testing across multiple Scrum teams 5. *Experience with any BI Tool is sufficient, but Business Objects or MicroStrategy is a huge plus* 6. Experience developing and executing validation scripts, creating sample reports using Business Objects, reconciling report data and measuring query performance 7. *Experience with Datawarehouse Technologies/Techniques such as Star/Snowflake Schemas, ETL, SSIS* 8.
