The programmer will collaborate with other developers and key stakeholders to assess requirements, develop code and debug. In addition to developing sound applications, this position will from time to time assist in report writing, writing complex database queries, monitoring/developing integration solutions and other duties, as required. The candidate will assist in testing, change management, quality assurance (QA), software roll-out and documentation efforts. Strong candidates will have superb communication skills and be able to work both independently, as part of a development team and efficiently multitask. What You Need for this Position • At least 2 years industry experience in general software development methodologies. • Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, etc.). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt to change is required. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server. • Experience with IIS 7 or greater is a plus. • Experience working with ASP.NET MVC is a plus. • Experience writing mobile application code is a plus. • Industry appropriate certifications are a plus.
