Role: MicroStrategy Developer Location: NY Duration: 2 months Role Description: Responsibilities Assist the BI Architect in the generation of reports and dashboards based on pre-determined reporting requirements. Responsible for ensuring that the ad hoc report structure provided to the power users will perform adequately and provide accurate results regardless of what the power user does. Develop and unit test reports and dashboards using MicroStrategy Desktop developer Support QA efforts for the reports and dashboards (bug fixing) Serve as potential backfill for MicroStrategy Architect (vacations, PTO, etc) Skills 5+ years development of business-ready deliverables and reports using MicroStrategy Desktop Developer 1+ years of experience as a MicroStrategy Architect (in a support role) preferred Experience developing reports in MicroStrategy Web Developer is a plus but not required. Familiarity with the BI software development lifecycle and Information Delivery Architecture best practices.
