Position: Citrix Admin Duration: 6+ Months Location: Huntington Beach, CA Rate: DOE *NOTE: NO OPTs, Transfer Required Visa Copy* Need to travel all over USA Client covers the travel expenses *Job Description:* *Need 8+ Years Citrix Admin with XenDesktop 7.6 or later version* *Install XenDesktop and XenApp 7.6 service* This phase includes the deployment of the latest XenDesktop 7.6 or later version using the existing customer provisioned virtual servers and new Dell PowerEdge R7910 workstations. This work will be done in the production environment using a clean, new installation. Throughout the Build-Out phase the Dell team will work alongside the customer IT team and share knowledge. The following components will be deployed and configured at the customer data center: Deployment of Citrix XenSever on up to eighteen (18) Dell PowerEdge R7910 workstations. The R7910 workstations will host the required windows 7 virtual machines Deployment of single (1) instance of XenCenter to manage the XenServer environment Install XenDesktop and XenApp 7.6 service components (single instance each) and management consoles (Datastore, License server, Storefront, Director, Studio, XenDesktop and XenApp Host servers and Delivery Controller) on customer provisioned Virtual Servers Existing SQL 2012 R2 server will be leveraged to host the required databases Setup/Configure necessary Application services roles on Windows server OS Customer will provision the required virtual servers using their existing VMware vSphereI ESX environment Create a single (1) new Windows 7 64bit image for desktop virtual machine to act as a template and optimize for the performance Dedicated GPU from the local R7910 will be configured for each Windows 7 64 bit VM Users will need Persistent desktop with each 50GB in C drive space for storing 3D app data Customer will provide the required assistance to install the 3D client application on the base Windows 7 image (no other Windows applications are part of the VM image) Create single (1) persistent desktop pool - Persistence will be achieved using Citrix User Profile Management (UPM) toolset (if required) Setup and configure user access to virtual desktops based on Active Directory groups Provisioning Services (PVS) will be leveraged and configured to provision Desktops Create and configure the following: Sites to deliver applications and desktops to users Single (1) Machine Catalog Single (1) Delivery Group including adding required Active Directory Security Groups and / or users to the delivery groups and storefront configuration Provision up to seventy (70) Windows 7 persistent desktop VMs Create necessary Desktop Categories Install and configure the Citrix receivers on up to seventy (70) end point devices (Laptops/ Desktops) Testing -The customer is responsible for providing the users and hardware for testing. Dell will be responsible for installing the Citrix Receiver Client on Windows thick clients. All endpoint operating systems must have a supported Citrix Receiver Client available for the operating system.
