Duration   :   6+ months Contract
Rate  :   $35/hrC2C

REQUIRED SKILLS:
BA/BS Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred.
3 years related experience.
Client/Server application development experience required.
Development experience with Object-Oriented programming languages (C++,
Unix, Java).
Strong User-Centered Design experience.
Experience using relational database management systems (Oracle).
Strong experience using Visio.
Experience in financial services and / or call center applications is
strongly preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with various SDLC methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
Personal attention and responsibility to details.
Management experience a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems.
Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned
customer group from the business and technical perspective.
Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business
requirements and see them through implementation.
Develops and executes systems testing.
Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems
groups.
The successful Business Systems Analyst Senior (BSA.) candidate will have a
strong technical background with programming (C++, Unix, Java) and
relational database (Oracle) skills and experience, and will have experience
as an analyst working directly with Development and Business staff.
The BSA is the liaison between the lines of business and the CSD Development
team.
The BSA works directly with the business to ensure requirements and goals
are correctly understood during the Analysis phase.
The BSA also works directly with the development team to ensure system
enhancements are correctly transitioned to the Build phase.
The BSA creates documentation (Functional Specifications) for the
Development team to code functionality into customer support applications.
Additional documentation created by the BSA to communicate planned system
functionality and implementation processes to the business and development
teams consists of the following: Use cases, Activity diagrams, Data flow
diagrams, Batch and online system process flows, Subsystem touchpoints and
dependencies, Screen prototypes, and user/interface designs.
The BSA will conduct impact assessments to understand business and
application implications to requests being considered.
May be asked to provide technical and\or business-execution consultation to
various departments throughout the bank.
The BSA is responsible for ensuring current and accurate system
documentation, perform testing of system modifications, including test
scripts (Verification Testing), and identify needed system training,
educational tools and materials as a result of activities.
May be involved with the Project Manager regarding planning/scheduling and
resource allocation.
The BSA should possess strong facilitation skills which will be utilized
when leading focused discussions or using data collection tools (surveys,
focus group, charting, reports) to achieve specific goals.
The BSA is expected to be a self-starting, self-directed individual who has
the ability to effectively execute their responsibilities while balancing
multiple concurrent assignments.
The BSA will be expected to possess and display Project Management skills
and may be required to actively manage parts of, or entire projects.
