*job descriptionThe Build Engineer performs a variety of technological
functions in various aspects of the information technology department;
primary supporting the *
*demand of new projects/services in both non-production and production
environments. Includes working alongside with project managers, vendors,
and/or *
*other IT departments to build the application layer of the design. The
successful candidate must have strong working knowledge and hands-on
support *
*experience with IBM WebSphere suite of products and Microsoft Windows and
UNIX/Linux server operating systems; must lead the development, review *
*and approval of standards and procedures, both operational and functional;
and may be required to support different shifts to enable 24x7 support and
be on **call. *
*Experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and managing IBM
WebSphere Portal Server 7.x/8.x, WebSphere Portal Content Management, IBM *
*WebSphere Application Server V 7.x/8.x and IBM HTTP Server V 7.x/8.x.
(preferably WebSphere Portal 8.x and above) Experience in installation,
configuration, upgrade, tuning, security, backup, recovery and upgrades of
IBM WebSphere Portal Server in clustered (High *
*Available) environments on Linux platform. Experience in cloning WebSphere
Portal environment and setting up High Available environments Working
experience with automation via. Portal Scripting Interface, wsadmin.sh,
JACL/JYTHON, shell scripting, JSON, ant, XML access, config engine etc.
Experience in setting up integrated security access to IBM WebSphere Portal
and Single Sign-On to other applications. Experience with automating
builds, deployments, environment and configuration etc. using scripting.
Strong working knowledge and hands-on support experience with Microsoft
Windows and UNIX/Linux server operating systems. Experience working with
Source Control Management Team (SCRM), Developers, QA, Network Team and
Project Managers etc. *
