Duration: 14months Interview process: Skype or face Job description: Position Description: This work effort is to assist in SSA's development of the Windows Development and Production Environment (WDPE), which is a project that is mandated to establish standards for development and production support for application systems on a Windows platform. The resource will be evaluating SQL server tools, developing database support and design standards/guidelines, developing application development standards for SQL Server, and providing DBA support for SQL Server databases Skills Requirements: Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server • Experience scripting Windows Batch and Powershell. • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. • Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. • Experience in implementing operational automation. • knowledge of how indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching.
