The duration of this role is 16 weeks from late-June through mid-October. This role will involve working with testers and subject matter experts to identify and develop test scenarios and test cases in Client ALM / Quality Center, and facilitating the execution of the test cases across testers in multiple functional areas. This test lead role will be responsible for reporting test status to project leadership regularly and will own the identification and communication of any issues or risks for the testing workstream on any associated projects. The client uses an onshore / offshore model to support testing activities, and this role will require frequent communication with offshore resources. *Position Qualifications* • Manages functional testing activities on one large IT project or multiple smaller IT projects, concurrently. Includes working with project leaders on resource planning and timelines, coordinating the work of multiple testing resources to develop test scenarios and test cases, facilitating test execution and defect management activities, and providing regular status to project and business leaders. • Assumes clear ownership of the testing workstream when assigned to a project in a lead role. • Expert in functional testing process, including test scope identification, test requirements management, test case development, test scheduling, and defect management. • Strong understanding of common Systems Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Waterfall and iterative approaches like Agile / Scrum. • Exposure to core business analysis activities like requirements elicitation and design documentation. • Expert in using Client ALM / Quality Center for test and defect management. • Experience leading multiple resources on projects. • Experience working in an onshore / offshore delivery model • Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills with IT and Business audiences. • Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams. • Consistently delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail. • Proactively applies a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts. • Able to influence others without authority in order to drive decision-making and solutions. • Retail / supply chain background is preferred. • SAP experience is preferred. • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. • 5+ years experience in test / QA leadership roles *Regards, * *Pearl Carrol | Technical Recruiter* *Talent Acquisition Dept.* *pcar...@itbtalent.com <pcar...@itbtalent.com> | * *Direct #609-429-2800* *Alt # 609-935-3773 EXT 102* *Fax #727 499 0906* *ITBrainiac Inc. | www.itbrainiac.com <http://www.itbrainiac.com> * *116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 - Princeton, NJ 08540* I respect the value of your time.
