Position: UNIX Systems Engineer with CA Siteminder Location: Alpharetta, GEORGIA Duration: 4-6 months with extension likely Required Skills: Analytical Skill, Security, See Below, Shell Scripting, Solaris, UNIX *Extensive background with the CA Siteminder Security products. * General: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Considerable programming experience. Competent to work on various technical projects. Knowledge of Ping Identity Ping Federation product knowledge, Oracle/Sun IDM product, EMC RSA Authentication Manager, Wiley for SiteMinder product a plus. *Desired/Optional Skills: Microsoft Office tools, Network knowledge, Directory knowledge, Windows NT, JAVA, and SQL* Duties/Activities: In general, implements most complex UNIX based software products. Evaluates technical products and directions. Researches complex technical requests in concert with business objectives. *Extensive knowledge with CA Siteminder product to lead and assist in production support of existing and new applications, problem determination, reading and interrogation of Siteminder logs, and the gathering of performance metrics. * *Knowledge with the ACE/Server or RSA security products. Knowledge of PING Federation product and able to assist in build and implementation of application for its use. Enhance existing/create new monitoring Unix scripts for Siteminder environment. Handle daily issues (as appropriate). i.e. checking the debug logs for reported problems, etc Follow up on problems (contacting people, tracking problem status, etc). Follow up on operating issues e.g. consumption of finite resources like sockets. Assists in providing technical expertise to implement, develop, support and maintain complex technical software and hardware. Troubleshoots technical software problems. Performs tasks necessary to comply with established technical and administrative procedures / standards. Accountable for cost effective, efficient technical solutions. No direct supervisory responsibility but may mentor lower level employees.* Frequent oral and written communications. Clearly expresses ideas and objectives.
