This is a high level position that requires *a candidate to have strong Informatica with Teradata experience. *We need a candidate who has minimum 2 years Lead experience and is confident. 7 years experience is not enough. Title: LEAD ETL Developer No of Position: 2 Location: CT Duration: 6 Months Job Description: · 8+ years of ETL design, development, and configuration management experience in Informatica 8.1 or above with Teradata as back-end database. · Should have extensively worked on Informatica Designer Components -Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer & Mapplet Designer, Transformation Developer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor. · Should have worked on and supported Extraction, Transformation and Load process (ETL) using Informatica Power Center to populate the tables in Data warehouse and Data marts · Experience designing and implementing a BI/DW Infrastructure on a large scale: ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and Analytics. · Experience in defining a suitable architecture for data integration from multiple, disparate data sources (including legacy systems, relational databases, flat files, message queues, spreadsheets, etc. · Ability/experience providing technical/process direction to other developers, including mentoring others in BI, ETL, Informatica areas. *Responsibilities include:* - *Leads a team of Informatica Developers and determines overall architectural and design practices to follow during implementation of a new ETL mappings* - * Proficiently applies appropriate methodologies to support the creation and maintenance of Informatica ETLs.* - *Troubleshooting and debugs new and existing ETL solutions.* - * Creating, reviewing, testing and maintaining ETLs to meet customer deadlines.* - * Maintains an awareness of existing, new and emerging technologies with Informatica.* - *Drive development and implementation of data strategies to optimize data quality, and implement a robust MDM solution. * - *Define and deliver data quality project communications across impacted organizations, ensuring that all stakeholders are knowledgeable of the impact and drive corrective change.* - *Identify opportunities to improve business processes that impact t data quality and drive execution.* - *Contribute to and adopt data quality best practices in alignment with other functional organizations* - *Lead data acquisition and validation strategy and execution with 3rd party data sources. * - *Analyze data trends and monitor data for duplications and rejects.* - *Work with internal/external partners to identify opportunity to upgrade data feeds and drive implementation * - *Provide business with best practice for match & merge approaches for winner/loser records.* * * *If interested please fill the following details:* * * Full Name: Phone Number: Home Number: Email ID: Expected Rate: Availability: Current Location: Visa Status: Relocation: If you are interested in this position please respond with updated resume rate and Contact details ASAP.
