---------------------------- *Role – Java Architect* *Location - **Miami**, FL* *Duration – 12+ Months* *Responsibilities**:* Here is the detailed job description for the Java Architect. Keep in mind this is an all-encompassing JD that gives a candidate an overview of the current environment. Client has just started a Transformation stage where they will be going to new open source technologies like Cassandra, Angular JS, Spring Boot. Hopefully we can find a candidate that has previous experience in the standard Java, Oracle, Oracle EBS environments, but possesses new technologies that I outlined. • Partner with other Solution Architects and members of the development and operations staff, advocate IT organization's technical standards and arch vision to ensure long term roadmap integrity. • Lead a team of cross-functional architects that contain expertise in Java, PL/SQL, Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion Middleware, enterprise security, and infrastructure domains. • Design efficient technical systems and engineering processes that enable the business to improve its gross margin. • Participate as a leader to define and implement the new IT development standards • Lead the architecture team that will be redesigning the underlying systems and infrastructure that will support the new business systems that will be used to run the WFS business. This will all be part of the Transformation Project. • Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the enterprise architecture, and make appropriate technology choices for the Transformation Project. Job Requirements:* This position is an experienced position. The incumbent has in-depth knowledge, skills and expertise in their own discipline and other disciplines of relevance.
