Job Title: Business Analyst w/Healthcare
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6 months

NC Department of Health and Human Services/Division of Medical Assistance
is seeking a Business Analyst resource for the NC-MIPS development project.
The Business Analyst will document business needs and requirements for the
attestation systems maintained for the EHR program.

The selected candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and
written communication skills; very strong facilitation, and collaborations
skills. The candidate will assume a key documentation specialist role
working as part of a small development team to document the requirements
for a new development.

Responsibilities:
Thoroughly understand the NC Medicaid Electronic Health Record Incentive
Program and the associated Attestation Systems, Transactions and workflows
Evaluate the proposed and final rules received from Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services
Collect, review and document business needs and requirements, user
documentation, process flows; coordinate design reviews; and serve as a
liaison between business and development team
Design and configuration of solution for system interfaces
Work with project team and key stakeholders to successfully document
requirements to maintain Attestation Systems
Keep subversion updated with all requirement and other supporting document
changes to match the current application behavior along with developing new
requirements
Understand and follow HIPAA Privacy rule and Affordable Care Act’s
provisions
Work in a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task
Migration of existing requirements and creation of new requirements in HP
ALM
Test case migration, test case creation and test execution in HP ALM
Perform QA related activities as needed

Progressive, successful experience in a software development environment as
Business Analyst
