*SURE SHOT INTERVIEW* *Position: Lead EDI QA Consultant Location: ATLANTA, GA Billrate: $45/hr inclusive. H1b’s OK Duration: 12 months *
The following position is budgeted/approved. Make sure you get the Right to Represent for each candidate in case of conflicts. This person will need 2 or 3 years of experience leading a big QA projects for EDI. The EDI documents are 850, 856, 944, 947, 846, 753, and 754. The candidate must have experience of the 850 and 856. The other documents are a nice to have. The start date is immediately. Role & Responsibilities: • Work within the Global Supplier Performance Management team for the MSR Project • Develop test plan, test strategies & test cases • Implement, document and execute test cases • Coordinate with multiple teams for preparing test data and test execution • Test mainframe functionality both existing and new changes as per the test cases and business expectations • Prepare test execution scripts like JCL, datasets etc. • Prepare test strategies for all EDI documents • Review Requirements Matrix to ensure all requirements are included in the scope of testing. Required Skills: • Proven track record of testing experience in multiple phases • Proven experience of end to end testing which involves suppliers • Proven experience in producing quality testing documentation • Ability to document and execute test scripts • Strong analytical ability • Proven track record of industry standard Quality Assurance practices • Experienced in industry standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Proven experience in major Supply Chain EDI documents which include but not limited to 850, 860, 856, 810, 820, 852, 204, 990, 214, 753, 754 etc • Ability to work with development team to understand code changes and review business requirements to match development activity and identify any gaps • Ability to question proven methods of coding and suggest any improvements. • Ability to work in a multi-team environment and communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and from all levels within the organization • Exhibit integrity in all decisions and actions • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Conduct trainings to GSPM team as needed Technical Skills: Mainframe: • DB2 – Required • ISO/ISPF – Required • JCL – Required • COBOL – Required ( Flexible) EDI: • Gentran on Mainframe – Required – This project is for Gentran only. If the candidate has experience in GIS, that’s perfectly fine as well.
