*Job Title: PLM Business Analyst* *Location: Round Lake, IL* *Duration: 5 Months* *Rate: $50/HR on CTC* ***Must be US Citizen OR Green Card Holder*** Job Description: Responsibilities for Technical Specialist: • Works as a liaison between IT and Business to provide recommendations on technical solutions required for the achievement of business goals. • Gather, understand and document business objectives, specifications and requirements on small/medium size projects. • Define, design, and document business flows and processes • Participate in planning sessions with the project team to analyze business requirements, and help define the proposed solution. • Responsible for completing use cases and assisting in the development of requirements/design documents that will be used by the development teams to create the required solution. • Provide support to Business Analysts on assigned project • Assist in the development of global communication materials, demos, etc. in preparation for a global deployment. • May be asked to assist with PQ test case development • Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Act as the primary contact for the data management process between IT developers and the business. • Provide end-user support on applications supported within the organization. • Provide cross-functional and business knowledge to develop business system and process alternatives. • Train others as appropriate on specific area of business or systems expertise. Assist in development of training materials • The incumbent will perform other duties assigned and own key tasks. Required Skills • 10+ years' experience in applying information systems solutions to business problems • *Background of business analyses in applying PLM to medical device and pharmaceutical industry* • Prior experience with global enterprise system deployments and migration (PLM systems a plus) • Demonstrate solid business knowledge, require moderate direction, give minimal guidance to others, handle moderately complex problems, possess solid knowledge of *SDLC* • Ability to translate stakeholder requests into well-defined uses case / requirements and reviewing with stakeholders • Ability to work within a global, cross-functional team • Excellent listening and communication skills • Suggest improvements to procedures and manuals based on knowledge of upcoming enhancements • Provide technical guidance to the extended global migration team • Work closely with subject matter experts and business partners • Understand technical designs as well as specifications • Document functionality and changes that may affect stakeholders • Solid business knowledge.
