Strong Linux (or UNIX) OS systems administration skills. Experience with any of the following technologies is preferred: Linux (UNIX) System Administration: Experience with CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux (or other Linux or UNIX OS). Cloud Computing: Experience with design, deployment, and operations of cloud based infrastructure. AWS experience is preferred (or other cloud provider such as Azure): AWS service experience should include EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, and Cloud Formation and/or OpsWorks. Cloud infrastructure automation (infrastructure as code) implementation experience. Operating System Configuration Management: Experience with Chef (preferred), Puppet, Ansible, etc. Networking: Detailed understanding of TCP/IP, routing, CIDR subnets, proxy servers, NAT, and Firewall configuration and troubleshooting. Experience with using network troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump, netstat, Wireshark, etc. Content Delivery Network: Experience with deploying and operation of a site front ended by a CDN such as Akamai or AWS CloudFront. Relational Database Administration: MySQL (Preferred), PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server: Replication, Tuning, and High Availability Java Application Servers: Tomcat (preferred), (JBoss (Wildfly)), WebSphere, WebLogic. Clustering, load balancing, session replication, DB and Web Server integration, application deployment, Web Server: Apache (preferred), or nginx, IIS, etc.: SSL/TLS configuration, application server integration. Disaster recovery planning and implementation. Continuous Integration: Jenkins preferred or other CI tool. Software Development: Java preferred (or C/C++, PHP, ect.) (Experience with ReactJS, and RESTful services frameworks is ideal.) Configuration Management: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, (preferred) (Subversion, etc.) Shell Scripting: bash/ksh (Python). Content Management Systems: Drupal, Acquia Capacity planning with analysis of performance and endurance testing results.
