Job Title: SQL Server Developer Location: Cranston, RI Duration: 6 Months Position Description Programmer (SQL) with the experience and skill set to assist in the perfect migration of data from the DMV Legacy System to the new, modern platform knows as RIMS. The RIMS Platform is a Microsoft-centric platform. Job Duties: Assist in maintaining and improving the existing data migration test suite. Assist in the design and testing of Data Migration Agile development stories. Regression testing of data migration procedures. Assist in crafting data cleansing reports. Assist in construction, testing, and validation of migration automation infrastructure. Assist in the construction, testing, and validation of automated and on-demand reports pursuant to DMV business requirements. Requirements and Capabilities Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications required. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and Unit Testing required. Agile software development experience preferred. Experience in Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) operations and ETL Testing required. Experience with Team Foundation Server/Visual Studio Team Services strongly preferred. Experience in any Legacy-to-Modern system data migration strongly preferred. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in SQL and related technologies.
