**Position           : Citrix Administrator
Location          : San Bruno, CA
Duration          : 6 Months +*


*Skills:*


1. Candidate should have a minimum of 6-8 years strong Level 3 experience in
Citrix administration and / overall Wintel administration in medium to large
enterprise environments
2. Strong proven day-to-day system administration/implementation experience
in the following Citrix application virtualization/streaming/application
delivery technologies: Citrix XenApp 5/6, Presentation Server 4/4.5,
Metaframe server, Citrix NFuse (Web Interface)/Secure Access Gateway/Access
Gateway/Password Manager in large multiple farm environment.
3. Demonstrable experience with Windows 2000/2003/2008 server, Terminal
Services 2000,2003,2008, SQL MSDE/2000/2005, Active Directory 2000/2003/2008
and a working knowledge of best practices tied to security, performance,
hardware, networking, scripting, backup and recovery, clustering and load
balancing.
4. Manages Citrix farm builds, configurations, upgrades and test schedules
including Citrix Access Gateway appliances, Citrix Advanced Access Control,
and Citrix NetScalers.
5. Installing and publishing applications on the Citrix servers.
6. Managing printing in Citrix environment
7. Experience handling project work (design/planning/implementation) for the
above technologies
8. Person needs to be able to quickly understand complex infrastructures and
dynamic configuration changes/ or implementations, adapt and be able to
solve technical problems working from the front end to the backend and
communicate resolutions in a clear, concise and complete manner.
9. Should be well aware of ITIL process (Incident, Problem and Change
Management).
10. Strong experience handling escalation situations
11. Need to be a team player
12. Good communication skills (both oral and written) are a must.
13. Ability to multitask and prioritize to complete various work
requirements
14. Good customer facing skills and strong consensus building skills.
15. Ability to work with minimal guidance and drive things to a logical
conclusion
16. Ability to drive things and take initiative.
17. As required, overnight and weekend work in support of projects and
client support.
18. CCA/CCEA certification preferred
