*Need Cobol Programmer* Position:Cobol Programmer Location:Philadelphia, PA Duration:3-6 Months Minimum Requirements: There are about 270 open requests to enhance/modify TIPS system. Revenue commissioner wants to make a concerted effort to clear all the backlogs. Position overview / Statement of Work The NATURAL developer will be responsible for developing NATURAL/ADABAS based software solution to implement TIPS enhancements and changes associated with maintenance of existing functionalities. This position will also support our effort to implement ADABAS SQL Gateway. Work activities Design, develop, and implement TIPS enhancements. Modify existing TIPS programs as part of software maintenance. Support the efforts to implement ADABAS SQL Gateway Provide documentation of TIPS enhancements and modifications performed as part of software maintenance/enhancements. Identify test cases for both unit testing and user acceptance testing of the software modules developed/modified Conduct unit testing of the software modules developed/modified Help with user acceptance testing(UAT) of the software modules developed/modified. Note: Performing UAT is the responsibility of the business unit for which software modules were developed/modified Skills/experience REQUIRED of the assigned staff: Proficiency in developing software solutions using NATURAL/ADABAS development tools in a mainframe environment.
