Position: API Testing
Billing Start Date: Nov 14th, 2016
Location: San Francisco (2 position)
Charlotte (2 position)
Rate: $ 50/hr. (for San Francisco)
$43/hr. (for Charlotte)
Job Description:-
- Responsible for test and develop REST API schema
- Generate swagger and other API documentation
- Develop automated acceptance and unit test for the agile team
- Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate dev, build,
deployment and testing
- Design and write formal test plans and test specifications to
address API component and system integration test
- Partner with business and development partners to create
detailed test plans and validation strategies
- Supports adoption of agile and shift left practices and execute
Agile BDD/TDD
- Execute continues integration test flow and communicate to
project stakeholders
- Review and enhance gherkin test scenarios and test script,
create and execute API Java test script
- Contribute to efficient and effective program and system
solutions in solving medium-complex business problems
- Ensure quality standards and principles are used throughout the
development lifecycle
Minimum Qualifications:-
- 5+ years of test automation skills using Selenium, Junit, and
Jenkins or similar products and string JAVA coding skills
- Ensure quality standards and principles are used throughout and
development lifecycle
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing high
volume web services using API protocols and Data Formats (REST, JSON, SOAP,
& XML)
- Experience in API products like WSO2, APIGEE or similar platform
in designing API facades, and designing and implementing API proxies, and
Developer portal
- Hands on experience in Agile BDD/TDD
- String knowledge in API Modelling languages and annotations
(YAML, Swagger, RAML)
- 3+ years’ experience with Mulesoft or similar integration
platform
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and etc.
- Experience working with and writing Swagger definition
- Experience developing in agile & with CI tools like GitHub.
- Develops system testing strategies, plans, cases and conditions
