Technical Android Architect-2 roles open 6+ months Duration: 1/30/2017 - 7/28/2017 (potential for extension) No H1B-GC or USC Both Architect level and regular developer Write up: • Please highlight Agile and/or Continuous Delivery (CICD)/DevOps Approaches • Call out Android design/development experience. • Please overview any offshore experience. Job Description: The role will be for an onsite technical lead for Android development who will be managing an offshore development team in India. Experience in farming or manufacturing is a plus but not needed. These will be the responsibilities: • Leads the offshore team and drives the development ensuring timely completion of deliverables • Supports/Co-leads the design, development, and testing of the technical solution in collaboration with teams • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact to the broader development teams and as a liaison to the offshore development team • Analyze requirements, estimates effort, assign work, conduct code reviews and ensures quality delivery • Executes project management activities according to processes and keeps program/project lead informed and escalates any issues/risks • Identifies process gaps, leading practices, and recommend guidelines and improvement opportunities for android based development We will even consider junior resources with android skills.
