*JOB SUMMARY:*
- The position is responsible for the design, implementation and
day-to-day administrative support of the Enterprise Network for the Global
Retail and Corporate businesses.
- These services include, but are not restricted to: network design,
performance engineering, WAN/LAN administration, Wireless, DHCP, Network
disaster recovery, BGP, internet connectivity, ACL management, WAN
acceleration, and NAC configuration.
- The role acts subject matter expert for network infrastructure,
transport technologies and must collaborate heavily with architecture,
third party providers, international operations and service delivery teams
as well as the applications teams.
- The position works with the network manager on the health of all
network connectivity and equipment to ensure high performance access and
availability to business applications and services.
- This role will focus on the layer 1-7 networking environment and a
strong service-oriented culture.
- The person in this role must have deep and sound technical
capabilities across network disciplines.
- This person must have a strong understanding of network project design
and execution along with troubleshooting and network operations.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Implement, configure, analyze, and support the company's internal and
external data communications systems which include the local area network
(LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Provides subject matter expertise for IT Project and initiatives
- Creates and uphold standard operating procedures and documentation
- Responsible for network design, implementation and delivery
- Member of team responsible for the support of global network
- Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other
network and system problems. Coordinates and supports incident management
with vendors for remediation of circuit outages and equipment failures.
Provides real time escalation response for support issues.
- Establishes network and telecom system specifications by conferring
with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and problem
- Hardware and software upgrades and updates
- Providing support and assisting other groups in problem resolution
- Implement, maintaining, and reporting on security standards across the
Enterprise Network, Server, and Desktop infrastructure.
- Ensure appropriate capacity and performance planning for systems to
maintain and accelerate global business growth
- Deliver reporting on SLA achievement
- Develop and publish metrics for operational, planning, and
forecasting purposes
- Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control,
and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and
procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
- Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs;
providing references and support.
- Member of a high quality Network Team
- 24 X 7 network support including onsite and remote management
- On Call Responsibilities

*EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED:*
10+ years Experience in IT Network Delivery
- 10+ years Experience in Cisco, Riverbed, Aruba Networks, and Infoblox
technologies preferred
- Experience in the Retail industry and PCI Compliance preferred
- Experience in managing multiple projects and support functions
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Technical Discipline or an equivalent
combination of education, training, and experience.
- Meraki experience preferred but not required
- Open to competitive SD-WAN and DMVPN experience
