Job Title: Flex Developer Location: NYC,NY. Duration: 6 months contract. Rate :* $60/hr on C2c MAX.* • Development work experience within Financial Industry IT is a plus • Familiarity with specific messaging middleware systems with ION MarketView Bus and/or IBM MQ being a strong plus Roles and Responsibilities: This role is for a senior Flex developer to work on a short-term (3 month) engagement in the FIxed Income Trade Processing application space. A Flex-based user interface and application layer has been built for Middle Office staff to perform their day-to-day trade management responsibilities. There are many future enhancements in the pipeline and we are looking for a strong developer to re-factor the code into a industry-standard Flex MVC framework (i.e. PureMVC or Cairngorm). This activity will take place in parallel with ongoing development on the system. Candidate must, in addition to strong Flex knowledge, must be able to function in a demanding environment in support of a top system re-engineering effort.
