ATG Senior Developer Duration: 3 – 6 months Location: Chicago, IL *Essential Background and Experience:* •Broad technical skills necessary, with a solid understanding of internet/intranet technology. Minimum of 5 years of ATG development experience required. •Ability to do medium to complex programming, program debugging, data analysis, problem analysis, and resolution of issues within application systems. •Knowledge and understanding of the concepts and techniques of structured programming and design program development is necessary. Requires support and guidance only occasionally. •Experience creating both functional and technical design documentation based on documented business requirements in support of a technical solution. •Minimum of 3 years UML diagramming experience required. •Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience and varying levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to work well within a team of application developers (and occasionally lead portions of projects or tasks) on project tasks. •Understanding of relational database technology. Experience with DB2 preferred. •Ability to effectively create unit test plan and ability to effectively unit test application development enhancements. Experience with PVCS, Rational Robot, Rational Test Manager, Rational Requisite Pro and Rational Clear Quest beneficial.
