Title: DataStage Developer Location: East Rutherford, NJ Duration: 6+ months Client is looking for a developer profile (3-5 years of experience). - The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with 3-5 years of hands on ETL experience using IBM Datstage 8.X(preferably 8.5) components. B.S. degree in Computer Science or computer related field is desirable. - Should have extensive experience with *IBM Datastage 8.5 Designer, Director, Manager and Administrator.* - Should have strong technical expertise writing *Transformer stage, Aggregate stage, CDC Stage other ETL functions within Datastage* using best practices and coding techniques for the data warehouse design, development and testing. - Should have hands on experience using MQ Connect, *JDBC* , DB2 connect and *SIEBEL *adapters and effectively implement implicit/explicit transaction management. - Experience with network protocols like SMTP, HTTP and LDAP configuration. - Experience with MS-SQL server 2005 is a mandatory. - Should have experience implementing multiple protocol bindings: Web services (SOAP/HTTP), Java Message Service (JMS), Extensible Markup Language (XML), messages. - The consultant will be involved in production support for various applications in Data Stage 8.5. - Experience with version control software (preferably *Microsoft visual source safe*) is a plus. - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
