Position: *Mainframe Developer* Duration: 3-6 Months Contract Location:Parsippany, NJ *Rate: $45/hr On C2C MAX.* *Technical Skills Required:* *Essential: Mainframe and SAS – Must * Minimum of 7 years development experience in IBM mainframe Strong in JCL, COBOL, Syncsort, SAS – MUST Minimum 2 years of onsite coordination Good SQL knowledge Performing impact analysis, detailed design, coding, unit/integration/system testing. Managing and executing service requests and projects as per software development life cycle. Addressing queries and providing training to team members on mainframe technologies, application and projects. Coordinating with various Stakeholders of projects/clients as per onsite co-ordination activity. Providing production support, day to day support while working closely with client at their location. Suggesting areas of improvements/enhancement opportunities to client by cost-benefit analysis. Providing architectural solutions to multi application impacted projects. Assisting in writing requirements for upcoming projects and providing preliminary solutions (technology based as well as business application based) by using application as well as technical knowledge.
