*We need a J2EE Lead Architect*
Location: *Detroit, MI*
Duration: *12+ Months*
The J2EE Lead will be responsible for defining the solution architecture for
specific components of the overall architecture primarily using J2EE
technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a software/application architect
with hands on experience in creating and implementing web based 3-tier
architectures.
The J2EE Solution Architect would work as a part of client project teams to
interact with and define a solution architecture based on clients needs.
*Required Skills:*
1. At least 2-3 years experience as a solution architect, plus 4-6 years as
an solutions architect/designer
2. Hands on experience in implementing J2EE solutions
3. Experience creating layers architectural models and 4+1 views
4. Strong communication and client facing skills
5. Weblogic, Oracle, Struts, JSF, SOAP Web services experience
6. Performance tuning skills
7. 7-10 years of related work experience
8. Must have experience working with distributed implementation teams
9. Willing to travel extensively, up to 100%
*Additional Qualifications:*
1. Flex UI, GWT (Google widget tool kit), Java FX, AJAX, spring
2. Knowledge of security standards and architectures
3. Ability to interact comfortably with clients
4. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and requirements
5. Ability to be a self-starter and working independently
6. Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
7. Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
8. Bachelors Degree in a related area of study.
