*Job Title : Quality Assurance Lead Location: New York City, NY Duration : 3-6 months contract* *Skills:* VLDB, SQL, PL/SQL, QA, LEAD The client who is a major health care provider in New York City has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst/Test Lead. The QA Analyst/Test Lead will be responsible for testing functional specifications and data quality of the application. Specific application is largely composed of web services and functions as a faceless VLDB data hub for many applications. Therefore, experience in leading integration test, regression test, and performance testing are critical. Position includes building out a larger test team as well. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of relational data structures / models / relationships. He/She should have 1+ yr experience working with VLDB (very large databases). 3 yrs Oracle experience (SQL, PL/SQL). Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools, in particular, Word and Excel. Experience using automated backend testing tools and building test harness.
