*We need an ETL Architect *
Location: *NY*
Duration: *6 Months*
Recommend overall approach for interface design to VP – TV Affiliate and
Enterprise Systems, Director - Research Systems, Director - Business
Intelligence and other key technology leaders
Create, document, publish and enforce development standards
Lead team of onsite and offshore developers ensuring quality of project
deliverables
Ensure outbound interfaces are delivered within pre-defined service-level
agreements
*Qualifications/Requirements *
B.S. in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent
degree
7+ years of ETL implementations at Fortune 1000 companies
5+ years experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata tools and
utilities (TTU)
In depth knowledge/experience of interface development on large volume real
time or near real time data warehouses, preferably with Informatica
PowerCenter 8.6.1 and Teradata 13
Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and
make strategic recommendations to management as well as all levels of
internal/external service partners
Strong experience with standard data warehousing ETL concepts and techniques
including relational/dimensional modeling and in decomposing functional ETL
requirements into deliverable objects
Extensive experience using ETL technologies, preferably Informatica
Must be willing to accept and influence a fast pace of organization change
Strong project management, leadership, decision-making and technical design
skills
Ability to multitask and comfortable working in a large organization across
multiple teams
Demonstrated competency in all phases of software development
Solid understanding of data modeling and design considerations for
analytical systems

Other recommended technical skills: UNIX scripting, Control-M, TIBCO
Business intelligence (BI) tools: MicroStrategy, Business Objects
Custom development tools: C++, C#, ASP/.NET
Experience with media systems especially Nielsen TV ratings
Understanding of change data capture (CDC) and enterprise application
integration (EAI)
