*Job Title :BI ETL Developer Location :St.louis,MO Duartion :3+months Rate :$50/hr on C2C* *BI ETL Developer (Microsoft) The BI ETL Developer (ETL) provide comprehensive processes to extract data from source systems or models, transform data according to Business Rules and MDM, and load data into operational and presentation models. The role is required analyze sources of data, determine optimal extraction methodologies, map and model to operational & presentation data models, identify enhancements, and other needs relative to the Business Intelligence role. Essential Functions: Gather and document data requirements with Business Analyst Create new ETL processes and workflows from Transact-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS 2008) ETL Processes will source from RDMS, MS Analysis Services, flat files and Web/application Services. Destination models will primarily be RDMS & MS Analysis Services Identify data elements from Source data repositories and document requirements for new data elements Actively participates in reviews of data, specification proposals, requirements, etc. to develop, document and implement repeatable data test plans Follow Configuration Management process for developing and implementing ETL & SSIS Packages Additional Duties: Participate in design reviews and identify impact to ETL processes & models Identify and implement Best Practices for managing ETL development Work with Data Architects, Database Administrators, and Data Quality Analysts on data requirements and Quality Assurance Example Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications required 3+ Years IT experience required 1+ Years industry experience as Microsoft Reporting Services ETL Developer required Experience with Microsoft Integration Services 2005+ and Microsoft Management Studio (2000+) required Delivery experience with Microsoft Integration Services 2008 a plus Proficiency with Microsoft T-SQL required Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and/or Office development a plus 2+ years experience with relational databases a plus. Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred.
