Kindly send resume at *davis.clay...@panzersolutions.com* Job Title : Data Warehouse Analyst/Support Locations : NYC,NY Duration : 6+ months Contract Job Description:: Candidate must have full Data warehouse background (have seen and built data warehouses) that support financial /securities data e.g. what are security masters, fund master, risk data etc. Must know about FIXED Income data –e.g. yield, duration, analytics for bonds, coupons, interest etc. Must run SQL for manipulating data, working with different fields etc. Experience working with vendors and other departments (e.g., Fund accounting) & users –the entire firm will use this DW data. The primary users are Risk, Portfolio Managers and Marketing now (3 major audiences with different needs). Users need help with process - there are about 5 Master systems all feeding a data warehouse and candidate must have background in Data warehouse and strong PROCESS experience. Must have high level understanding of the technical pieces – would have had a technical background and be able to look at the structure and the process – consider what works doesn't work. Need "respect" of the IT department so can talk their language & logic - understand their SDLC and methodologies. Consultant will look at all current processes – System Assessment how the systems are built and feed into the DW - after full assessment, will consider next step for Delivery and help build out the Support model for how to handle the DW and all the requests using a ticket process. And will also get “buy in" from others – to see the process and what is needed and ideas to create better process and support model. Will organize all the data for marketing, operations and risk. Create processes to insure that all data is useable and accurate as data is fed in from Security Master, Fund Master, Transaction Master, Risk Data and Analytics.
