Job Title : MAC ENGINEER Locations : Phoenix, AZ Duration : 4 month contract to hire *Rate:40/hr on C2C or 1099* *System/network engineer experienced working extensively with Macintosh computers and with Apple desktop/laptop environments. This is an on-site position with our client in Phoenix. Qualified candidates will be senior-level administrators or engineers with excellent leadership and analysis skills. Strong knowledge of Macintosh system platform with both applications and hardware including latest technology and how it integrates in an enterprise environment. This is an enterprise environment and candidates must have experience supporting large enterprises (1000+ Mac computers). Windows OS experience is also required. Required Skills: BS/BA degree or equivalent higher educational certification. Experience can be substituted for degree. Minimum of 5-7 years of overall Mac systems engineering experience. Understanding of a hybrid Mac / Windows / Enterprise environments. Must have enterprise experience with creating images, integration with Active Directory, scripting (Perl, BASH, etc.), patch management, public key and certificate management, and provisioning in a centralized service model. Solid understanding of IT systems, architectures, development languages / tools and current technologies. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects while maintaining deadlines and managing resources. Excellent analytical, negotiation, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. Advanced verbal and written communication skills, ability to present in both technical and non-technical terms to all levels of staff.
