*Position:* QA Tester (SOAP UI)
*Location:* Los Angeles, CA
*Duration:* 6+ months
*Job Description:*
· Client is looking for strong QA consultants with strong knowledge of Web
Service testing.
· Deep experience in automating web and back-end service tests
using a variety of tool sets (SOAP UI, Load UI etc)
· Demonstrated coding experience (1 - 3 years), particularly in the
area of building/extending automated tests (Java preferred, but
experience in coding in some language or languages is a must).
· Experience solving problems (e.g., text manipulation, sorting,
test data management, log analysis) with scripting languages (e.g., Perl,
Groovy, UNIX shell)
· Prefer strong experience with open-source tools
· Experience with Release Management process/methodology
· Experience writing select and update queries with MySQL and Oracle.
· Experience using source control (e.g., CVS, Subversion)
· Strong ability to identify and isolate bugs through direct testing,
log analysis, data manipulation, etc
