Job Title : Websphere MQ Consultant Location : Downtown Chicago, IL Duration : 6+ Months Contract * Job Description :* Qualified candidates should have following skills/experiences: 1. ALL SKILLS/EXPERIENCES NEED TO BE HANDS-ON AND PRACTICAL 2. Experience with WMQ version 6, 6, 7 (MQ 7.1 strongly preferred) 3. Design, configuration, load testing, tuning, troubleshooting of WMQ in Linux/VMWare 4. Deep understanding of WMQ client/server architecture 5. Experience with application messaging design and working with application teams on using/troubleshooting of MQ 6. Deep understanding of JMS messaging (especially in WebLogic or JBOSS) 7. MQ Security (Channel Security Exit or MQ7.1 Channel Authentication Records) 8. Deep understanding of WMQ participating in two-phase commit (XA) 9. WMQ7 PubSub 10. Monitoring of WMQ (preferably using BMC Patrol) 11. Experience leading junior level MQ resources The ideal candidate should also possess good communication and project management skills, as s/he needs to interact with multiple development teams, project managers, and other MQ engineers.
