*RPG ILE Programmer Analyst* Location: NYC Rate: $60/hr on c2c Basis Duration: 6 Months Our client, a leading Financial Services firm based in Jersey City, NJ is looking for consultants to join their technology team. Responsible for the design and development of new system functionality for our Fixed Income processing system- IMPACT. Provide Technical assistance to Business Analysts in the capturing of detailed business requirements for creation of the Business Requirement Documents. Responsible for developing and testing programs using iSeries, RPGLE, CLLE, C and Java. Ensure that programs are functioning correctly and that the application functions in accordance with the enhancement specifications. Also responsible for the correction of delivered programs which either fail to meet the requirements of the client, as outlined in the enhancement specification, or fail to process in an acceptable manner. Ensure that all programs written and/or changed by team members follow the standards as defined in the Development Standards Manual. Review the test scripts created by the Quality Assurance group and suggest additional test cases. Address client reported issues. Assist different client facing groups within the organization by providing review of and information relating to impact™ processing issues. Support various activities related to Upgrades and Client Conversions. As a member of Technical review committee and Database review committee provide feedback on Technical Designs and Product DB schema changes. Serve as an escalation point for Beeper support call to resolve nightly Batches issues reported in client’s batch process.
