Max Rate: $40-$45/hr on C2C * Please send resume to prav...@itbtalent.com * Job Title: Oracle DBA Location: New York, NY / Centennial, CO / Hightstown NJ Duration: 5 months * Job Description Responsible for the design, installation, upgrade, maintenance and monitoring of Oracle database components in order to ensure the viability and integrity of the Company’s data maintained by these products. Monitor Oracle databases for performance problems and recommend performance-tuning actions using Oracle utilities, other vendor software and utilities or programs developed independently Respond to and resolve Oracle access and performance issues Participate in cross training activities as needed in the Oracle applications and database environments Review, and maintain policies and procedures pertaining to application and database recovery and disaster recovery Participate in the installation and maintenance of Oracle technology stack products and utilities Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing procedures for modifications to Oracle databases Research and recommend Oracle application support products and tools and application development products and tools Recommend, establish, and implement Oracle database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, recoverability, and availability of the Company’s data controlled by these databases Perform off-hours production support as needed Work with application development staff to establish Oracle coding and testing policies and standards as well as assist/answer any questions/problems regarding application development Work/interface with Network staff to determine space availability and placements of Oracle applications and databases Interface with other department personnel as required Participate in departmental and user group meetings Experience with Oracle *11g *with RAC Coordinate with application support staff for Oracle cloning activities (autoconfig) Please send resume to prav...@itbtalent.com Thanks, Praveen - Recruiter Direct: 201-855-5156 Email: prav...@itbtalent.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
