Position: iOS Developer Location: Eagan, MN. Duration: 6+ months with possible extension. Rate: competitive QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s/Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field • 3-5 years of experience working in software development • 2-3 years of experience with Objective-C, Xcode, and the iPhone SDK • Portfolio of iPhone, iPad, or Mac apps available in the AppStore or contributions to open-source projects • Knowledge of iOS design patterns • Experience with JSON and communicating with web services • Experience with Core Data • Experience with the iOS networking stack a plus • Moderate data analysis, design and testing skills • Strong communication skills, both written and oral • Ability to solve complex problems independently and gather expert advice as needed • Ability to work under the supervision of the team lead, to work independently, and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects • Ability to focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment • Web service development experience using C#/.Net is a plus PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Analyze, design and implement new features/functionality primarily using the following technologies: Objective-C, JSON, C#/.Net • Work on multiple projects and manage time effectively • Participate in requirement gathering process, propose solution, and create design documents • Provide timely and accurate communication of status to team, project and technical leads • Consult with project lead on identification of problems and suggest solutions for the resolution of coding issues • Collaborate with remote development teams to leverage existing applications and infrastructure as well as for ongoing implementation and testing efforts • Discover new technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements At Thomson Reuters, we deliver intelligent information quickly and efficiently, so professionals have knowledge to act.
