*JAVA DEVELOPER* *Location is Reno (Carson City), NV.* *6 months contract* * * As a web developer, the SPA will be responsible for the implementation of improvements and enhancements to the Nevada Business Portal. The consultant will be assisting the business to define their needs and effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications and application design. The consultant should have excellent technical and analytical skills. *1.1 *The consultant will be responsible for the following: *1.1.1 *Design and implementation of new features for the Nevada Business Portal; *1.1.2 *Maintenance and enhancement of existing Nevada Business Portal features; *1.1.3 *Creation of technical specifications and work with lead developers; and *1.1.4 *Identification and development improvements for the application performance. *1.2 *The consultant must have the following qualifications: *1.2.1 *Good analytical and problem solving skills; *1.2.2 *Solid knowledge in object oriented methodology using JAVA; *1.2.3 *Knowledge in web service development; *1.2.4 *Experience in XML technologies; *1.2.5 *Good understanding of J2EE design patterns and ability to build Java EE applications using model-view-controller (MVC) design pattern; *1.2.6 *Interested in adopting and acquiring new technologies; *1.2.7 *Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies; *1.2.8 *Experience working with relational databases; *1.2.9 *BS in computer science or equivalent, Masters is a plus; *1.2.10 *Five (5) plus years professional experience using web technologies, such as J2EE, Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, JSF, WSDL, XML, HTML, XSD, XSLT, AJAX, SOAPUI, web services; *1.2.11 *Experience with SQL and database concepts; *1.2.12 *Experience with version control tools; *1.2.13 *Experience in using IDEs; *1.2.14 *Experience in Windows, Linux operating environments; *1.2.15 *Certification in Java is a plus; *1.2.16 *Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic is a plus; *1.2.17 *J2EE Experience: *1.2.17.1 *Experience with Web Development using JSP, HTML, CSS, Java and supporting tools; *1.2.17.2 *Experience with J2EE, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Apache CXF, Hibernate frameworks; *1.2.17.3 *Experience in databases like Oracle, MySQL; *1.2.17.4 *Experience in developing Web Services; and *1.2.17.5 *Good knowledge of XSL, WSDL, XSLT and other XML technologies. ** *Thanks and Regards,* * Ryan Marshall | Panzer Solutions LLC 45 Stuart Ave, K Norwalk CT 06850 USA Direct:203-350-9567,203-513-9767, | Fax: 203-286-1457 E-mail:ryan.marsh...@panzersolutions.com * *Notice of Confidentiality: The information contained herein is intended only for the confidential use of the recipient.
