Installs SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL 2012 Upgrade databases to SQL Server 2008 R2 or later. Support SQL 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, and optionally SQL 2012 including: Backup and restore SQL server databases utilizing backups to disk via SQL or backups to tape via Netbackup. Deploys databases and assists developers in deploying databases in SQL Server 2008 R2 or better. Conducts performance monitoring and tuning of SQL Server 2005 or better. Performs moderately complex systems and database administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance. Creates, manages, and monitors database backup plans. Establishing database mirroring and replication as dictated by requirements. Monitor and manage transaction logs.
