*Non H1B Consultants Only Job Description The Sr. Web Developer specializes in Front End & Back End web site development, with expertise in Drupal, PHP, HTML, JS, CSS, the DOM and all aspects of browser-rendered markup. Web Developers ensure pages are coded using industry standards and that new and best practices on the front end are employed carefully and skillfully. Knowledge of Mobile Web is desired. Qualifications: Attention to detail and timelines is critical. Consistently meet or exceed deadlines on programming projects. Must be able to scope assigned projects accurately, and maintain clear and constant communication to peers, Seniors, Leads, Project Managers, Chiefs and Management. Research new technologies; provide ideas for technical or workflow / process improvements. -Skills important to success: Advanced HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Flash, XML, XSLT, PERL, Java, JSP, UNIX shell scripting and a strong foundation in enterprise level Internet technologies -Flash fluency isn't a requirement, but strong skills in Flash are highly desirable. - Strong image editing skills (Adobe Photoshop or other industry tools) is required. - College degree required. At least 5-7 years of previous experience building web sites is required. -Experience with a large-scale web site is a plus. -Expertise in HTML, JavaScript and CSS is required, and experience with DHTML, PERL, PHP, CGI and Flash is preferred. Candidates must provide samples of work, and take an online test.
