Job Description *Our client seeks an experienced Programmer/Analyst to assist in-house development staff with rewriting existing management reports using the business intelligence and reporting capabilities of Information Builders’ WebFocus product.* Job Responsibilities Many existing management reports for this client were designed with older reporting technologies including Jasper and XReporter. The P/A will review those reports and make recommendations on how improvements can be made using the advanced capabilities of WebFocus. Once approved, the P/A will rewrite and provide written documentation for each report. The P/A will also work with in-house development staff to assist them in improving their working knowledge of WebFocus. The P/A may also help in developing and implementing an ad-hoc reporting application for users. Requirements *Programmer/Analyst with at least 3 years’ experience using the business intelligence capabilities within WebFocus to create queries, reports, and dashboard design. The P/A must have advanced knowledge of SQL; the ability to interpret and write stored procedures; a basic knowledge of Java; and familiarity with large databases. The successful respondent must submit to and pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
