Send your resumes at pe...@cncconsulting.com Role: SQL Server Developer Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 6 months Under general supervision candidate will design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS). The Candidate is expected to apply best practices when creating data warehouse, cubes, dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports. The candidate should be a conceptual thinker and be able to work well in a team environment. Candidate will need to collaborate with end users, stake holders, and management teams to build stunning and accurate reports. The candidate should possess data management experience and know how to create all components needed in each phase of the BI life cycle starting with the Extract Transform and Load (ETL) process through to the final report phase. This position requires someone who is a self-starter, a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deadlines. The candidate should be well-developed with interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate will need a keen ability to multi-task, manage time and juggle priorities while meeting project timelines. Candidate will need to be open to constructive feedback and also able to provide constructive feedback to others in a professional and etiquette manor. The candidate will receive revisions requests, corrections and suggestions from multiple authorities and will be tasked with integrating the ideas and input into finished BI solution. Other Duties • Develops security measures and policies for BI environment to prevent unauthorized access. • Recommends tools and resources to aid in creating attractive reports. • Researches and evaluates new technologies to improve reporting functionality. • Analyzes and troubleshoots problems related to report accuracy and data ETL process. • Designs and develops BI solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack. Preferred Requirements: • Knowledge of the methods and techniques of BI development using Microsoft BI tool set. • Ability to analyze operations and organize component parts of logical systems. • Extensive knowledge of TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. • Experience with Dashboard designer.
