"PeopleSoft QA Tester": City: Chapel Hill State: NC Description: ****PeopleSoft QA Tester*** Function as PeopleSoft QA Tester Supporting all testing on the HR/Payroll Project. This role reports to the Lead Tester and will work with the team working on the HCM implementation of PeopleSoft for the ConnectCarolina project. This is for the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM 9.1, providing the following services: • Participate in planning meetings • Work along with other QA Testers and help provide guidance and feedback on project. • Develop formal Test Plan documents. • Manage detailed execution of testing • Training project staff on the creation and documentation of Function Test and System Integration and Interface Test scenarios and test cases. • Reviewing and implementation test scenarios and test cases. • Coordinating the efforts to create necessary test data. • Reviewing test execution and providing corrective guidance as needed. • Assembling data and reporting on test execution status • Collaborate with peer Testers on the Project. • Ensuring maintenance of the Requirements Traceability matrix Test sections. • The contractor is expected to work a 40 hour week Monday through Friday (8 Hours per day) or Monday through Thursday (10 hours per day). Local candidates should expect to work Monday through Friday. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM is required, and preference is for candidates with at least 3 years of implementation experience with version 8.9 or greater. Higher Education experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM testing approaches. Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communications skills are required. Need to be very familiar with Microsoft Office Suite including Visio and familiarity with SharePoint a plus. Candidates should be available by 6/15/13. We anticipate the duration of the work to be a minimum of 7-8 months, likely closer to eight.
